I Am Not Alone

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
John 14:16-18 and 14:26

Jesus promises that I am not alone. He has given me the Spirit of Truth. In John 14:16-18, the amplified Bible describes the Holy Spirit as a Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby.
If you have accepted Christ as your personal savior, the Holy Spirit took up residence in you, too. He will stay with you and be a Helper in all situations. I am so thankful that I do not have to rely on my own resources. I can draw from the well that never runs dry!
"...If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." John 7:38-38
